Brecht Resources spent several months working on this project in Summerton, South Carolina. Twenty-four acres were first cleared of trees and brush. Next excavation started and dirt was placed to build up the dike that would fully encircle almost twenty acres. Laser equipment was utilized to ensure a level top all the way around. A controllable drain outlet was installed so this impoundment could be drained in order to plant crops for wildlife. Other task were completed while on site, such as a pond clean out, pipe installs, and road grading. The landowner now has a prestige duck hunting area he will enjoy for several duck seasons to come.
